TESLA MOTORS DELIVERS WORLD’S FIRST PREMIUM ELECTRIC SEDAN TO CUSTOMERS


Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA) delivered Model S, the world’s first premium electric sedan, to its first customers at an invitation-only event at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California today. These deliveries put Model S on the road approximately one month earlier than previously announced and places the company in a good position to build 5,000 cars by the end of 2012, followed by 20,000 cars in 2013. SOLAR BEARS AGREE TO TERMS WITH LANE AND WOODLEY


The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that they have agreed to terms with left wing Jordan Lane and defenseman Ben Woodley.
Over the last two seasons Lane (6’8”, 250lbs) has played in both the ECHL and the Central Hockey League. The Whitehorse, Yukon Territory native tallied 132 penalty minutes in 61 games while playing for the Evansville Icemen (CHL) during the 2010-11 season. In 2011-12, Lane played in 34 games with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. Continue reading

New York Life as one of the sponsors for the Central Florida Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce, organized a Presentation about Tax implications for foreigner investors, with speaker Glenn M. Terrones. The event was offered by New York Life with the Chamber Support, to more than 75 people at Fogo de Chão, that divided the event in two parts, presentation and cocktail right after the presentation, with the usual great service and food.

SOLAR BEARS NAME MATT MCILVANE AS ASSISTANT COACH


 

The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that Matt McIlvane will join the Solar Bears coaching staff as assistant coach for their Out of Hibernation season, which begins October, 2012.

Orlando International Becomes First and Only Florida Airport to Welcome Mexico‘s Volaris Air

 

 

- Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Volaris, from Mexico City, started its first Florida operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The addition of MCO brings to eight the total number of American destinations served by Volaris. The A-320 jet, configured to handle 174 passengers, was greeted with a water salute from the airport aircraft rescue fire fighters. Continue reading
