Orlando, FL – The Solar Bears trailed 2-0 and 3-2 but battled back to take a 4-3 victory over the visiting Florida Everblades at the Amway Center on Monday night. F Zach Harrison recorded his second straight two point game with a pair of goals in the contest.
For the second time in a row, the Florida Everblades collected the game’s opening marker. A puck shot through the neutral zone to F Brandon MacLean who led a 2-on-0 into the Solar Bears zone and slipped a backhand shot around G John Curry at 12:02. This week, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra announced that it received an anonymous gift of $1 million toward renovations to the Plaza Live Theatre, bringing the total raised to date to $3.1 million. The Anonymous donor joins other philanthropists Marc and Sharon Hagle, who made a $750,000 pledge in early 2011, Bryce West, who made a $500,000 gift in 2013 and Kenneth & Ann Hicks Murrah, who recently pledged $500,000 toward the project.
