This week, Tavistock Group hosted an exclusive event for Brazilian investors and local leaders at their premier residential golf community Isleworth in Windermere in honor of the arrival of Piquet Group, a renowned Brazilian investment firm with offices in Florida and New York. Brazil’s well-known late night national television host Amaury, Jr. was in attendance filming an episode to air on his show throughout Brazil.
In the wake of a recovering economy and capitalizing on the boom of business arriving in the U.S. from Brazil, Piquet has become well-known across the eastern seaboard as a catalyst for bringing Brazilian investment to the U.S. and forging regional economic opportunities.
“Brazil is currently our fastest growing international market, with twice daily non-stop flights from MCO to Sao Paulo and additional non-stop service to Brazil expected later this year,” said Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Board of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “There is no doubt that the robust Brazilian economy has helped boost international traffic at Orlando International Airport, which has also contributed in excess of $300 million to our local economy. We are thrilled to see a group like Piquet open an office in Orlando and boost international business travel to our region.”
Piquet Group, with offices in Miami, Orlando and New York, offers its clients the convenience of a one-stop shop for all their business needs, from its booming real estate business to concierge services, online education and a real estate university, exotic transportation and racing, to interior design and marketing. There is also the Piquet Law Firm, founded by Cristiano’s brother, Alex Piquet, Esq., a fully independent firm providing legal services to the Piquet Group.
“For many of the same reasons Brazilians are attracted to South Florida, they are also interested in Orlando,” said Piquet Founder and CEO Cristiano Piquet, who is also a well-known race car driver. “Many are looking to own second homes and vacation properties in Orlando to be near the beaches but also close to high-end shopping and theme park entertainment. Orlando has a lot to offer Brazilians, and we felt thatTavistock Group was the best partner to help introduce us to the region.”
With the opening of its Orlando office, Piquet’s full-service operations will now be available in Central Florida to attract Brazilian investment to the region. Piquet Realty is leasing space at the Tavistock House in Windermere.
“We’ve experienced a significant increase in interest from Brazilian buyers,” said Mark Hayes, President of Tavistock Group’s Isleworth Realty. “Tavistock’s partnership with Piquet will undoubtedly enhance Brazilian interest in Orlando, which will illustrate our region’s economic viability to this important audience.”
Piquet Group’s rising success and tremendous growth in the last few years has positioned Piquet at the forefront of the Brazilian boom having appeared in the New York Times, New York Post,Miami Herald, NBC’s Rock Center, CNN, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera and various newspapers, magazines and television appearances throughout Brazil.
