Rio’s new Orlando route for TAM in November
From November 12, Tam puts into operation direct flights between Rio de Janeiro and Orlando, Florida. The airline received permission from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to operate daily nonstop flight between the two cities. Reservations can now be made in the channels of Tam and the travel agents.
The flights will be operated with the Airbus 330 to 223 passengers and three classes – the first with four seats, 36 in business class and 183 in economy. From Rio de Janeiro, the flight JJ 8114 will leave at 10h13, arriving in Orlando at 16:15, return at JJ 8115, leaves Orlando at 18:10 and arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 5:40 am, Monday to Saturday with exception of Thursday. On Thursdays and Sundays, the times are different: the departure of Rio occurs at 9:13 a.m., arriving in Orlando at 15:15, and return occurs at 17.10, arriving in Rio at 4:40 a.m., when considering local time.
Since November 2008, Tam has direct flights between Sao Paulo and Orlando. Today, there are two daily flights from Sao Paulo, and the Brazilian company is the only one to operate the route with nonstop flights. More information on http://www.tam.com.br.
