NEW YEAR’S PARTY?  BRAZILIAN COCKTAIL A SIMPLE, SWEET ALTERNATIVE

Move aside martinis, the Brazilian caipirinha (kah-per-een-a) is taking center stage at all the best parties this New Year‘s Eve.  Infused with fresh fruit and Cachaca, a rum-like liquor that comes from fermented sugarcane juice, the cocktail is the house specialty at the Southern Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão.  Let guests mix and create their own at a Caipirinha cocktail station.

Melon Coconut Lime Caipirinha

  • 1 oz of cachaca
  • 1 oz of coconut rum
  • ½ oz of melon liqueur
  • 1 fresh lime (juice)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • Muddle ingredients together
  • Shake well with ice and serve with lime slices

Pineapple Mint Caipirinha

  • 2 oz of cachaca
  • 1 fresh lime (juice)
  • 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves
  • 5 or 6 pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Muddle ingredients together
  • Shake well with ice and serve with lime slices and a piece of pineapple

Caipirinha 1Lemon Blueberry Acai Caipirinha

  • 2 oz of VeeV Acai Spirit
  • ½ oz of amaretto
  • 1 fresh lemon (juice)
  • 5 or 6 blueberries
  • 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Muddle ingredients together
  • Shake well with ice and serve with a lemon slice
