Matchup:

The Solar Bears continue their six-game road trip this afternoon as they face off for a Sunday matinee against the Trenton Titans. Orlando showed strong resolve in yesterday’s tilt with the Elmira Jackals, as they came back from deficits of 2-0, 3-1, 4-3, and 5-4 to earn a point in an eventual 6-5 overtime loss to Elmira. The Titans Orlando vs. Trentonhad the luxury of being off last night, and last took the ice against the Wheeling Nailers on Friday. The Nailers built up a 2-0 lead going into the third period, but Trenton erased the lead with two goals in the first 4:21 of the period to tie the game at 2-2. Wheeling came right back with three unanswered goals, including two in 23 that came just 23 seconds apart, to collect the 5-2 victory. The Solar Bears and Titans last came together on an historic night for Orlando, when the 2000-01 Turner Cup Championship Banner was unveiled in the rafters of the Amway Center. In that contest, the Solar Bears jumped out to an early 1-0 lead and eventually took down Trenton 6-4. This is the third meeting between the two clubs, with Orlando going 1-1-0-0 against the Titans this year.
