On Saturday, November 30, the Orlando Philharmonic will perform its annual Home for the Holidays concerts at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre (401 W. Livingston Street, Orlando). Conducted by Albert George Schram, this year’s program will feature the entire Orlando Philharmonic with The Holiday Singers and the
Florida Opera Theatre Youth Chorus with special appearances by dancers from Orlando Ballet, an aerialist, and bagpipers from the Rosie O’Grady Highlanders. “Home for the Holidays” will include seasonal favorites like “The Little Drummer Boy,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “I Saw Three Ships,” classical selections such as Overture to “Die Fledermaus,” contemporary works like “Wassail, Wassail All Over the Tuba,” and a special performances of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” with narrator.
Concert attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help restock the pantry at Second Harvest Food Bank.
