CIRCA expands its services with the acquisition of premier online shopping destination for pre-owned luxury accessories
CIRCA, the leading international buyer of pre-owned jewelry, diamonds and watches today announced the acquisition of Portero, the premier online shopping destination for pre-owned, authenticated luxury accessories. This acquisition adds a strategic selling platform to complement CIRCA’s existing buying services and addresses an overwhelming demand from CIRCA’s loyal clients to purchase pre-owned jewelry, watches and handbags in a trusted environment.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in New York City, CIRCA has 14 locations worldwide, including nine offices in North America. Founded in 2004, Portero will relocate its offices to CIRCA’s headquarters. Both brands will re-launch their websites in the Spring of 2014 offering increased content and cross promotional shopping experiences, including curated specialty boutiques on Portero.com. These exclusive online events will launch in April 2014, with a Mother’s Day Boutique featuring vintage Hermes handbags and estate jewelry, followed by a Bridal Boutique featuring vintage engagement rings that will debut in May 2014.
Together, CIRCA and Portero will also introduce special offers and benefits exclusive to their shared clientele.
