On Sunday, December 14, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents to a free Community Open House to get a first-hand look at all of the new fan amenities and state-of-the-art technology in the newly reconstructed stadium.
This is a free, but ticketed event featuring self-guided tours, entertainment, free popcorn and soda and commemorative giveaways to celebrate the new Orlando Citrus Bowl.
The self-guided tour of the Orlando Citrus Bowl will take patrons through two levels of spacious 360-degree concourses that include an impressive array of concessions; into the 3,000-square-foot player locker rooms each featuring 90 new lockers; up to the 20,000-square-foot open-air Plaza Deck featuring views of the field as well as Lake Lorna Doone; and ultimately onto the field where attendees can participate in interactive games.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food donation to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Donations will be collected at each gate as patrons enter.
