  1. Orlando Magic slated to play two games through February 22
  • The Orlando Magic will tip-off the remainder of the NBA season following the All-Star Break with two games at Amway Center this upcoming weekend. The team will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, February 20 (7 p.m. ET) and the Philadelphia 76ers onSunday, February 22 (6 p.m. ET).
  • Single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.orlandomagic.com, at the Chase box office at Amway Center, at all TicketMaster outlets, or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover accepted at all purchase points.
  • All regular season Orlando Magic games will be locally televised exclusively by FOX Sports Florida.

  1. Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins to be honored at the Orlando EDC’s Annual Award Dinner on April 9
  • Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins will receive the Orlando Economic Development Commission’s (EDC) James B. Green Award at the EDC’s 2015 James B. Greene Annual Award dinner on Thursday, April 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
  • The James B. Greene Economic Development Award, first presented in 1990, is the highest honor bestowed by the EDC. The award recognizes an individual whose work has contributed substantially to the economic prosperity of the region. The EDC Chairman’s Award, first presented in 2007, recognizes a long-term contributor to the work of the Orlando EDC.
  1. Magic and Quill.com team up to refurbish computer lab at local neighborhood center
  • The Orlando Magic and Quill.com are committed to the advancement of literacy in Orlando and their goal to create an environment conducive to learning and play where children can excel academically and socially. The Magic renovated the Dr. James R. Smith Center back in 2011 and the center was updated with new computer equipment, desks, paint and photos provided by Quill.com and the Magic on February 17.
  1. Orlando Magic Announce Partnership with Puerto Rican Based Pan American Grain
  • On February 16, the Orlando Magic announced a new, multi-year relationship with Pan American Grain, one of the biggest agro-industrial companies in the Caribbean.
  • The partnership also names Pan American Grain as the official partner of the postgame concert during the Magic’s Noche Latina Celebration presented by Chase, which will be held on March 6. The concert will feature Puerto Rican reggaeton duo, Angel y Khriz. Their album, Los MVP, was certified Platinum by the United States Recording Industry Association of America earning the duo a reputation as one of reggaeton’s most popular duos.
  • The partnership provides Pan American Grain the opportunity to brand its premiere beverage, Gasolina, a ready-to-drink cocktail made with premium spirits containing no preservatives, in designated areas inside the Amway Center. Pan American Grain will also feature its other brands including Rico Rice, Habichuelas Rico, Tomate Rico, Café Mami throughout the season including a celebrity chef appearance at Jernigan’s restaurant inside Amway Center.
  1. Faith & Family Night
  • The Orlando Magic will host Faith & Family Night on Friday, February 20 when the Magic host the New Orleans Pelicans. Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a free postgame concert featuring Love & the Outcome. Magic forward Tobias Harris will briefly address those in attendance for the concert before it begins.
  1. Downtown Food & Wine Festival
  • Two Magic players will make an appearance at the Downtown Food & Wine Festival at Lake Eola Park to sign autographs and take pictures with fans on Saturday, February 21.

  1. Fourth episode of “Inside the Magic” set to premier on February 22
  • FOX Sports Florida will air the fourth edition of “Inside the Magic” on Sunday, February 22. This episode, the fourth of six new episodes to be released this season, will feature the Orlando Magic rookies.
  1. Oladipo shines at All-Star Weekend
  • Magic guard Victor Oladipo scored 22 points for the U.S. team in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on Friday, February 13 and was the runner-up in the Sprite Slam Dunk on Saturday, February 14 at NBA All-Star 2015 in New York City.
  • As part of the Dunk Cancer Social Media Fundraiser during the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend, Magic guard Victor Oladipo donated earnings from the 2015 Slam Dunk Contest to three charities: Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, Children’s National Medical Center and the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center. In addition to his personal contribution, Oladipo assisted the nonprofit, Dunk Cancer, by hosting their social media fundraising campaign during All-Star Weekend to encourage fans to donate.
  1. Orlando Magic set to play 15 more regular season home games
  • The Orlando Magic will play 15 of their last 26 games at Amway Center this season. This is tied for the second-most home games the team will play over the final 26 games of a season throughout the history of the franchise. (16 games – 2007-08; 15 games – 1999-00, 2003-04)
  1. Payton among top rookies in 2014-15
  • Magic rookie point guard Elfrid Payton currently leads all rookies in assists (317) and steals (87) during the 2014-15 NBA season. Payton has dished out more than twice as many assists than any other rookie this season.
  • Payton was a participant in the All-Star Weekend festivities, scoring two points and dishing out three assists in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on Friday, February 13 before competing in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge on Saturday, February 14.
