Today CFBACC had its first coffee break, with speaker Sheriff Demings at the Florida Christian University, official home for the Central Florida Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of Dr. Anthony Portigliatti, Dean of the institution. The FCU has been one of the most important entities in the community, giving a window of opportunities to many.
Dr. Portigliatti will soon complete the first phase of his project Excellence Assisted Living Facility. a top of the line residence for seniors in Orlando.
The Chamber follows its journey, improving its commitment to the community, looking to cross new frontiers and also and most important to serve its members leading them to success. The path CFBACC started since 2012 with President Amy Litter, has a legacy that is important to the new President Laiz Rodrigues. She says “Leading a Chamber is a serious job, but it is also a blessing. We serve our community, we help them thrive, and eventually we understand that regardless what country you represent, your job is still the same. What matters is your determination to learn every day’s lesson and grow.”
Sheriff Demings spoke about many things. His career path and experience, the present and the future of law enforcement. Valuable experience and wisdom that he shared with everyone. After his speech he answered several questions from the audience and everyone had coffee, cake and Pao de Queijo (cheese bread ) from Pao Gostoso Bakery.
The event reunited Chamber members, board directors, trustees sponsors and also new guests. A total of 40 people that marked their presence and networked. It was fantastic. Now let’s check the pictures!
