SOLAR BEARS DEAL SPARKS TO RUSH

Orlando Receives Future Considerations from Rapid City
 
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL’s Toronto Marlies, have announced that forward Lindsay Sparks has been traded to the Rapid City Rush for future considerations.
Sparks, 25, had played in 33 games for the Solar Bears this season, logging 14 points (6g-8a) and 24 penalty minutes. The forward was originally acquired by Orlando in an offseason trade with the Missouri Mavericks.

The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they host the Manchester Monarchs for the third time in as many nights on Friday, Jan. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.
