  1. MAGIC HOST MEMPHIS AND CHARLOTTE BEFORE ROAD STRETCH
  • The Magic look to follow up on Friday’s 109-90 win over the Los Angeles Lakers against the Memphis Grizzlies Monday night at 7 p.m. in the Amway Center. Following tonight’s matchup, Orlando hosts the Charlotte Hornets onWednesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. The Magic will then play eight of their next 10 games on the road – a stretch that begins with trips to Indiana and New York, followed by home games against the Atlanta Hawks (Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.) and Houston Rockets (Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.) and concludes with a six-game road trip on the West Coast, Orlando’s longest of the season.

  1. MAGIC SURPRISE FAMILY WITH “BIG GIVE”
  • As part of NBA Cares Season of Giving, the Orlando Magic celebrated Christmas in a BIG way, surprising Avis Glover and her family during the Magic vs. Lakers matchup on December 23. The Magic were joined by Walt Disney World Resort, Papa John’s, PepsiCo, Jewett Orthopaedic, Dixon Ticonderoga, Pan American Grain, Marriott Vacation Club and CenturyLink to shower the family of six with gifts and other items to assist them through difficult times. This is the eighth consecutive season the Magic have hosted one family around the holidays for “The Big Give.” Read more HERE.
  1. MAGIC TO HOST JR. NBA SKILLS CHALLENGE AT WEDNESDAY’S GAME
  • As part of the Magic’s continuing commitment to the youth of Central Florida through the Orlando Magic Youth Basketball Academy, the Orlando Magic will host a Jr. NBA Skills Challenge competition on Weds., Dec. 28 during halftime of the Magic vs. Hornets matchup, tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. The participants in the halftime competition are youth basketball players from throughout the Central Florida area.
  1. MAGIC TAKE PART IN HOLIDAY GIVING
  • PEPSI SHOPPING SPREE
  • Orlando Magic players Nikola Vucevic and Elfrid Payton teamed up with PepsiCo. for a holiday shopping spree for Boys & Girls Club members on Dec. 15. The 100 children attending from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida received $100 Walmart gift cards courtesy of PepsiCo. Vucevic and Payton, along with Magic volunteer staff members, took the B&G members shopping. Read more HERE.
  • ELFRID PAYTON AND HIS FOUDATION HOST TOY WORKSHOP
  • Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton and the Elfrid Payton Foundation hosted underserved children and families at the “Elf’s” Toy Workshop Celebration on Saturday, December 24 at Sky Zone Orlando. The holiday event featured a sky slam basketball glow party, #SelfiesWithElfie photo station, music, food, toy and book giveaway and more.
  • IBAKA HOSTS HOLIDAY PARTY FOR THE HOMELESS
  • Magic player Serge Ibaka hosted100 homeless women and children for a holiday party. Chick-fil-A provided meals, Amway donated hygiene products and Ibaka provided and distributed gifts to each of the families.
  1. MAGIC OFFER ALL-STAR TICKET PLAN STARTING IN JANUARY

  1. VOTE STUFF FOR MASCOT HALL OF FAME
  • STUFF has been nominated as one of six finalists for the 2017 Mascot Hall of Fame. Fans can cast their vote HERE. STUFF was recently named NBA Mascot of the Year by his peers for his high-flying feats and acting prowess. Entering his 28th season, STUFF is one of the most recognizable mascots in professional sports.
